Experience that makes a difference

My approach to sustainability hasn't been shaped from behind a desk.

It's been built through working alongside industry, government and organisations committed to creating practical solutions that deliver lasting value.

Over the years, I've had the privilege of leading industry circular economy initiatives, developing product stewardship programs, supporting government engagement and advocacy, securing funding for collaborative sustainability projects and helping organisations communicate complex environmental issues with clarity and confidence.

I've worked alongside manufacturers, infrastructure organisations, researchers, government agencies and industry associations to bring people together around shared challenges and identify practical solutions that create long-term value.

That experience has included:

  • Leading Australia's first Circular Economy Market Report for the plastic pipe industry in partnership with the Institute for Sustainable Futures and Circular Australia.

  • Establishing and expanding the Construction Plastics Recycling Scheme, bringing together manufacturers, recyclers and government to recover valuable resources from construction projects.

  • Leading the development of Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs), helping organisations understand and communicate the environmental performance of their products with transparency and confidence.

  • Supporting Life Cycle Assessments (LCAs) and comparative environmental assessments, helping organisations use robust environmental data to better understand product impacts, communicate performance and support informed decision-making.

  • Developing industry strategies and guidance supporting recycled content, product stewardship and circular economy principles.

  • Working with government and industry on sustainability policy, advocacy and funding initiatives.

  • Translating complex technical and environmental information into practical guidance, publications and communication that supports informed decision-making.
